One of my challenges for the year was to read at least 2 books a month (one fiction, one non-fiction). Half the Sky is the first one I’ve finished.
Half the Sky tells the individual stories of women in the developing world, the issues they and their fellow women face and the men and women seeking to support them. This book is eye opening, disturbing, hopeful and challenging.
I don’t want to forget what I’ve read and I don’t want to do nothing. So you have permission to ask me what I’ve done about what I’ve read!
Rating: 5 out of 5!
Have you read it yet? Planning to? Let me know your thoughts

Wow, that is challenging , 2 books a month! But I guess I should try out similar thing, well I will, soon enough- when my degree is finished!
But then, I keep saying that about everything, so hopefully it’s not just my brain’s excuse!
