As I’ve mentioned before, I’m challenging myself to read 24 books this year (2 a month). January’s choices were Half the Sky and this one.
I have a confession – I didn’t read it all! I just couldn’t get into it and I’ve decided that life is too short to read a book you’re having to force yourself to read!! The book is apparently based on the life of Laura Bush, but I didn’t find it interesting or the characters engaging. So I’ll be taking it to the next book swap!

I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by it’s cover, but I won’t be reading this in public! It was a christmas present and apparently it’s good! But I must say the cover is making me sceptical!
