Wallis Simpson is an infamous figure from that time – an American divorcee who captured the King of England’s heart or a Nazi-sympathiser who brought down a King (meeting Hitler doesn’t help dispell this!)? History fluctuates on it’s opinion of Mrs Simpson, but one opinion that is always constant – Wallis Simpson had great sense of style!
