What is your favourite costume drama? The Kings Speech? Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein? Downtown Abbey? Evita? Hands down, this is my favourite
The BBC’s 1995 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice out swaggers all other adaptations of Jane Austen’s fine novel! Well, starting this weekend the Ulster Museum are displaying 50 costumes from TV and Film’s best loved costume dramas. The Starstruck Exhibition begins this weekend in the Ulster Museum and runs until Sunday 25th September.
Also, the museum in conjunction with QFT are showing some of these costume dramas in the museum on Sundays throughout the exhibition’s duration. Watch the film, see the costume and all for the bargain price of £3.50! What a brilliant way to spend a sunday afternoon! This sunday it’s the Kings Speech.
See you there!
